Split Ends ? It's time for a Cut!

Having been a hairdresser for many years now (Chrissy), I’ve noticed that split ends aren’t as common as they once were. If you have experienced split ends you may find it interesting to understand them a little more.

 What are split ends anyway?

Found at the ends of your hair, obviously, they are easily recognisable as a split in the hair shaft, showing up often, slightly lighter in colour than the rest of your hair.

They’re caused by wear and tear basically. Rough handling, combing, and brushing wet hair when it’s most delicate, plus using too much heat incorrectly, holding the drier too close to the hair, omitting to use a thermal protection product, especially when using heated styling tools.
